Multi-sensory learning to help children learn

Multi-sensory learning to help children learn

Multisensory means multiple or many senses. It involves two or multiple senses to perform a single activity. The playgroup in Singapore takes advantage of the child’s innate learning style. It assists the child to focus better. This also helps the child to remember what he or she has learned. Playgroup in Singapore Mulberry Learning has shown that this process can help all children to be ready.

Observing and listening

Young children specially babies learn by observing and listening to their surroundings. These begin from the moment they are born, much before their brains could process the sensory information. Babies explore the world with movement. They use their feet and hands to do so. Babies touch everything, and ask huge number of questions. The baby shows the desire to learn. No wonder multi-sensory activities fit perfectly in this environment.

At a good pre-nursery, teachers make it a point to do all teaching activities a multi-sensory one. It means a baby is subjected to the four simulations: visual, movement, listening and speaking, and the use of hands. For many children, alphabet learning could be hard. They must learn the letters, both the uppercase ones and also the lowercase type. Children must not only recognize the letter, but also learn how they sound. Many children get confused due to similar letters and pronunciation.

Learning sans struggle

This is the point where multi-sensory learning zooms in. Children who previously struggled to learn letters now come out tops. Teachers insist that their students not only see the object, but also say its name. They also learn the sound they make. Teachers show a photo of the object which the children currently focus. The letter is made from particular materials. The child is encouraged to touch such an object.

The child is shown a picture whose legend begins with the letter in focus. To give an example, a picture of a mango is shown, and the letter m pronounced repeatedly. They can also construct a letter from a number of materials containing a texture, like clay or yarn. The child also draws letter in air. The baby is also encouraged to trace it in any sand box. This could sound a lot to accomplish, but it is not hard if you know how to do it. It is an excellent idea to utilize your creativity. You can think multiple ways to make the process fun for not only the child but also for yourself.

In short, multi-sensory learning is not just a buzz word for creative approaches to help your child learn, but there are substantial gains your child can have by going through this process. Besides the teacher teaching your child during pre-nursery hours, you can also chip in by asking your child what he or she has learnt, and pick up and new phrases or words. You will be greatly surprised at their progress.

Welcome to my blog! I am a preschool educator and I enjoy working with young children. They are not only adorable, they are inquisitive and kind. Over the years, I’ve learnt about the importance of childhood education, in order to nurture a healthy – physically and emotionally – child, there are many areas to take note. I hope my sharing on this platform will benefit you!

Four Basic Lessons your Child needs before Preschool

Before your child starts preschool in Singapore, you need to be sure that he or she is ready for it. Don’t misunderstand “ready” for “willing.” Most children won’t know what to expect from preschool, which is where you come in. Your duty as a parent doesn’t end with choosing the right preschool for your little one. You have to do a little schooling yourself before your son or daughter is all set to go.

One such preschool that can provide such an environment is Mulberry Learning Preschool Singapore. Check their website out here: http://mulberrylearning.com

Here are four basic lessons your little one needs before they start Singapore preschool.

Potty skills

Young children rarely have complete bladder control, resulting in accidents. And these can make your child feel anxious and uncomfortable in class. Children often misunderstand or fail to recognize signals from their bladders, which can sometimes appear all of a sudden. Young children can also become so absorbed in what they’re doing that they often ignore these signs from their bladder.

As a parent, it’s important that you help your little one recognize these signs and learn to act on them. Teach them to go to the bathroom at least twice in a span of five hours. Also teach them to undo their clothes quickly and easily.

Social skills

Your child will definitely be uncertain about preschools and have several questions for you. Explain that the first day of preschool will be awkward for every little kid in class. Try explaining how awkward your first day at school or college was. You could also take your little one on playdates to help fine tune his or her social skills like taking turns or sharing.

Eating and dining skills

When your child is eating without you around, he or she can feel anxious because they are used to you monitoring and helping them during meals. Sometimes, even opening the lid of a plastic container can be a tedious task, leaving them frustrated and uninterested in eating. Practice school lunches at home. You can pretend to be a fellow student and ease your child into becoming more comfortable with the idea of eating at school.

Understand bus basics

Your child is familiar only with the vehicle you drive, so a giant yellow bus can appear very intimidating to a tiny human. Before school starts, take walks with your child and show them what bus stops are and how school buses work. You can even get a willing bus driver to take him or her on a test drive.

These skills are very basic, but they can help your kid enjoy their classes better and make friends easily. Make sure your child is skilled in these areas before they start their preschool in Singapore.

HOW PRESCHOOL EDUCATION BENEFITS THE CHILD

At preschools, children learn through practical experience and creative exploration. Increased learning and social development occur in this multi-age environment. Younger children observe and interact with older children. In turn, older children serve as role models and learn skills and leadership skills. The materials for each class are grouped into five main divisions: language, mathematics, science, sensory and practical life.

One such preschool that can provide such an environment is Mulberry Learning Preschool Singapore. Check their website out here.

Areas covered by Preschool

Exercises of Practical Life

The Practical Life section lays the building blocks for all the work to be achieved in the class. Activities are daily activities that a child must learn to master self-care and the environment. These activities include pouring, cleaning, and tidying as well as grace and courtesy. These materials give a solid foundation for life.

Sensorial

The goal of a good preschool is to educate the child’s senses. This area contains specific curriculum materials for the day care that help the child improve their experience of sight, hearing, touch, tastes, and smell. The materials in this section are modelled on scientifically based concepts, such as the size of the metric system or algebraic formulas. These materials also include manipulations that deal in size, colour, shape, sound, texture, shape, and size. In addition to helping children classify concepts, sensory materials provide the basis for the introduction of other skills such as mathematics, music, and language.

Language

The language materials include sandpaper letters that teach the sound of each letter, wireless alphabet for the composition of simple words and phrases, many types of language exercises and metal inserts that develop control of pencils necessary for writing. Often our children can be seen playing simple words and creating their first stories. The child develops reading skills using coding and decoding methods. Children learn to apply laws such as Schwa rules and phonograms. The grammar will be presented to the children. Understanding and composition will be learned according to the child’s readiness.

Mathematics

The mathematical materials emphasize the concepts of number recognition, quantity, linear count, decimal system, and the initial lessons simple fractions in the four operations. The ideas are presented in a very concrete way so that children 3-6 years old can count and work with numbers up to 1000. Children are also able to work together counting chains, dividend values and creating large numbers with the “golden chain.” These concrete materials show the child the beginning of what will later become abstract concepts. A solid foundation will also be established, subtraction, multiplication, and division operations.

Science

Science is an integral aspect of the Montessori curriculum. And a lot more, it represents a way of life: a clear-thinking approach to acquiring information and solving problems. The scope of the Montessori science curriculum incorporates a solid introduction to botany, zoology, chemistry, physics, geology, and astronomy. The Montessori approach to science cultivates the child’s fascination with the universe and helps them develop a vital interest in observing nature and finding out more about the world in which they live. Simple scientific experiments will be conducted in class.

Cultural

The theme of Culture Studies integrates and emphasizes geography, history, music, art, region or population. Children study different areas of the world and experience language specific examples of literature, clothing, food, art work and music, both past and present. This increasingly important area introduces the child to the wide variety of people on our planet.

Art and Craft and Music and Movement

Music and movement education are also essential elements of the curriculum and the arts. They offer children ways of expressing themselves, their feelings, their experiences and their ideas. These activities will help children develop control of their fine and coarse movement.

In addition to the Montessori curriculum, Brainy Child Montessori also offers a variety of enrichment courses as we believe that children should be exposed widely to different fields and disciplines.

Importance Of The Time-Out

Importance Of The Time-Out Practice

As adults we often resort to summoning the miscreant child to time-out sessions. Behavior experts -moms and psychologists believe in the effectiveness of a time-out session. But there are certain things that you as an adult should keep in mind before sending a child to time-out, warns an experienced teacher at a nursery school in Singapore.

If you are looking for a Singapore nursery school, do consider Chiltern House for its holistic and excellent programme. Check out their website here today!

Here are the thoughts to consider before declaring a time-out:

Does the child really deserve the time-out Give yourself a minute to decide the seriousness of the miscreant in school or at home. If it is something negligible, then do ignore it. A kid is a kid, she just might have acted out on her curiosity. If there isnt any positive reason that prompted the activity, you can consider time-out.

Too many time-outs Evaluate how many time-out a child is having. Is it too frequent? Is it deliberate? Does he want your attention? Find out if there is a pattern in the activities of the child that is leading them to trouble.
Explanation Never send a child to time-out without asking them for an explanation for their behavior. On your part as an adult, explain why he is getting sent to a time-out. Never compare how well-behaved other children are, instead remind him how well-behaved he normally is. Express concern for his behavior.

Time-Out area The designated area needs to be uninteresting. The purpose of time-out area is to make the child reflect on what he has done. Do not make an example of him. If you are making a time-out decision in school try to keep it away from the sights of other children who may make fun of him.

Duration Do not have a prolonged time-out session, it will not be effective. Try to execute time out depending on activities and interest of the child concerned, plan the time-out according to severity of actions.
Warnings Before giving an actual time-out, it is a great practice to give warnings. In most cases children stop their behavior that may get them a warning and you will not have to proceed with the time-out. Give up to two warnings and then you can give a time-out. Do ponder why the warnings didnt work.

If a child is restless and can not sit still and keeps moving around causing distraction, it may lead you to give him a time-out. But before that have a little chat, ask him if he slept well or maybe had too much candy. Maybe the child is going through a psychological situation that is making him behave differently. Look for a reason as to why the child is misbehaving. Address the root-cause that will prevent future occurrence of such behaviour.

Choosing the right teaching philosophy most suited to your child and other factors to keep in mind.

Choosing the right teaching philosophy most suited to your child and other factors to keep in mind.

Every individual has a unique personality that calls for different learning environments. This is because what one child must be comfortable with might not be sought by the other. In an attempt to provide a perfect learning environment for your child, authorities in Singapore have come up with various preschools, each having the freedom to have any teaching philosophy. Below you will find Donna Matthews talking about the necessity of a preschool and how it serves to enhance the skills an individual is born with.

Looking for a preschool in Singapore can be a daunting affair with the many preschools providing different aspects of quality education. However, Chiltern House has shown to be one of the best in providing a headstart for your child. Do check out a Chiltern House Review here today.

The necessity of a preschool

As a child is growing up, what is highly important is not the kind of care a child receives, whether it is through a nanny, parent, daycare, preschool, or other- but rather the primitive nature of their home experience. So even though company does matter, it does not influence your child in the early years as much as you think it does. No matter the form of early childhood care, optimal outcomes are experienced by children who experience warmth, responsiveness, and the right kinds of stimulation at home. Read more here!

A child’s verbal communication, cognitive, and societal progress outcomes are all enhanced in high-quality care environment and this cannot be argued because there the child has the support of well-trained adults. Children growing up at home tend to have more behavior problems thus showing signs of aggression and lack of co-operation. Since parents tend to be more lenient with the kids diet, the kid might also show symptoms of minor illnesses such in upper respiratory and stomach. The following article by Karen on Noodle will give you an amazing insight into the options you can choose from.

At this point, you might be unsure of what preschool to send your child to. Chiltern House might be one of them. If that is the case, do check out this Chiltern House Review and read about other preschools as well to know which you should send your precious one to.

Different teaching philosophies

The most common type is the Traditional classroom system having a structured curriculum. The system devises specific objectives which the children have to build their goals around. Learning is through recognition of letters, numeric, various sounds and shapes e enhance problem-solving and listening skills. Hence the activities are teacher-directed which means the teacher passes down a set of instructions and sets the goals to be achieved by the child. In traditional environments, certainly there may be a free-choice period, but there is more emphasis on formal instruction. Children tend to call teachers by their last names, and they may be required to wear uniforms or follow a dress code. Read more here!

The second most common type is progressive in which developmental is prioritized through keeping the teaching system child-centered. In this methodology it is believed that the children should explore through inventive play, art, and puzzle solving. The school usually has a play area and an area for painting and a puzzle area. Teachers adapt to these environments instead of keeping expectation from the child for a certain goal. They keep checking up on kids in their own chosen engaging spaces and encourage them to go forward with their own ideas.

Another type is Montessori. In this self directed learning is encouraged. The learning initiates with the teacher explaining the proper usage of different materials. After this step has been undergone, the children are left on their own to depict the same method used by the teacher. Such programs are designed to cater to each kids interests and needs according to their pace. Practical, sensory and linguistic skills are enhanced

Another system is the Reggio Emilia approach. It brings to emphases the children as competent, resourceful, curious, imaginative, and inventive. In this the child has to be well aware of the look and feel of the classroom, which is supposed to be the third mentor.

The last type of philosophy system that you will come across in Singapore is the Waldorf approach. Teamwork and community based learning is encouraged through a hands-on exploration. The mentor of your child will not change until eighth grade which ends up in a strong, trust worthy relationship between the teacher and child in which the teacher is able to fully recognize your child’s capabilities and skills and discuss them with you. Now that you are aware of the philosophies, keep reading below to find out what Wendy Wisner has to say about the program options available to you.

Choosing the right program- Half day or full day?

If you have noticed that your child gets over stimulated under a lot of hours of a tight structure and socialization or even sitting in a classroom for just six hours has resulted in massive mental meltdowns for your child; half day programs are the perfect choice for you! They tend to work out better in terms of the mental health of the child. Should we stand by and accept that high-level academics are being stressed at such early ages, and valued over things like creativity and free play? Read more here!

However if you cannot give full time attention to your child or are unable to cater to their daily needs due to some reason, then a full day program is the one you should go for.

To conclude, there are so many options to choose from and your child is sure to settle in amongst one of them. Some schools even go for a mixture of these approaches. So if you want a program that inculcates the ideas of Montessori teaching methodology while enhancing socialization skills of your child, you can even have that.

Five Ways to Get Kids Involved in a Tough Lesson

Five Ways To Get Kids Involved In A Tough Lesson

Educators face a lot of flack when they are unable to keep their classrooms in order. Children uninterested in a subject, tend to throw tantrums that cause teachers to use a firm voice. This may unsettle the class, but it is a necessity.

If you are looking for a Nursery School in Singapore, do consider Chiltern House Nursery School. They not only provide a holistic curriculum comprising linguistics, Mathematics and Science topics, but also prepare your child for primary school. Do visit their website above to find out more.

For a good review of Chiltern House, you can read about Chiltern House Review here.

Let us look at five ways to get kids involved in a tough lesson.

1. By changing the pattern of teaching, children respond to something new. The idea is to formulate a method that sits well with the kids like taking them outdoors for a lesson. They will settle down for sure.
2. Another method that has been proven to be advantageous to the student and teacher is the use of props. A dry and dull subject that is not sitting well in the classroom may need an extra dose of fun to give kids that excitement as they learn the subject and understand that it is not as boring as it sounds.
3. Mixing it up in the classroom is a wonderful way for children to step out of their comfort zone. By creating groups in the class and opening the session out for a quiz like session gears everyone up to bring their A-game to the table. As they compete with each other in groups, they end up enjoying the subject and learning along the way.
4. At the nursery school Singapore educators add another touch to the education story. Bringing music into the picture makes sense, as kids love anything that rhymes. By using this to the advantage of the child, the teacher encourages children to create a song with the information and up the quotient.
5. Including exercise between subjects helps kids to keep their minds on the story in front of them. Exercise is an energy booster for kids and adults alike and as they run around and play, which is also education, they come back to the classroom revitalized and raring for more.

Overview
Other methods like including discussions in the class, organizing a movie, or anything to shake the minds off the toughness of the subject is the objective. Teachers add more to their methodology because children tend to get bored easily. And once boredom sets in with a child, propping her/him to learn and love a subject s/he has decided s/he hates can be a difficult task.

The five ways suggested above, are ideal to get kids involved when there is a tough lesson.

Foundations of Learning: More than the actual learning nursery schools are all about teaching your child how to learn. It is here that they learn to follow instructions, interact with adults and children outside the family. The rudimentary of pre language or pre maths are also taught here. So it is in the nursery school that the basic foundation of a childs future school life is set.

Social Interactions: Nursery schools are also very important to a child because they teach your child about social interactions. Children learn to interact with other children and adults, put in group efforts, wait for their turn in class, help other children and make friends in the nursery school.

Emotional Development: Children are taught how to deal with their emotional reactions while in nursery schools. A good nursery school teaches them to handle their frustration and anger as well as teaching them to interact with other children. Also in a good nursery school children will be given space and time to resolve their own conflicts and develop their personality. The role of a nursery is not to shame a child but to guide them and help them to explore.

Learning to make Choices : People say that we are only as good as the choices we make. Generally a child learns to make choices at the nursery schools. Certainly he may exercise his choices at home also but the nursery school offers him a wider variety of choices. A child may choose the activity he likes the most or a classmate he likes more than others.
Learning to take Care: A good nursery school teaches a child to take care of himself as well as others. It is one of the first places where he or she goes outside their homes and here they learn to take basic care of themselves and help their friends.

The color song – This song is so catchy that all the adults in the room will inevitably join the chorus.
What color are you wearing – This is such a wonderful song to get the kids involved even the shy ones. You can group them into colors or play word association games with colors.

Oh rainbow song – Almost every child is fascinated with rainbow. The rainbow song lets you teach the children colors while they engage in fun activities like making a rainbow with colored clays or papers.
Make a color chant – Children love to create. Let them chant the colors and come up with sound or an expression with each color. The more you will encourage them, the more they will learn, not just about colors but most importantly about self-expression.

Let’s sing a song about colors – Engage the children in the song and an activity. Introduce a color and ask them what objects have that color. The best part of this activity is that the children learn to identify objects with colors.
What color are you wearing today – It is one of the most fun songs. Each child gets called for the color he or she is wearing followed by a hooray! It is extremely enthusiastic and fun-filled.

Five little crayons – This is one of the best and most popular songs among preschoolers. It not only inspires the children to learn colors but also gets them motivated to draw out scenes.

Activities through songs ensures that the children truly get engaged in the process of learning rather than simple memorization of colors. Colors are the first step children take towards creating their masterpieces. Given the vivid imagination children have, a little bit of inspiration can draw out the Freidas and Van Goghs.

Mathematics is quite an Imperative for Kids a Few Reasons Why

Mathematics Is Quite An Imperative For Kids, A Few Reasons Why

The first step in early childhood development is learning to talk. The next stages – comprehend the information, analyzing, and finding other methods to substantiate the sum of the total. Mathematics as a subject is imperative for children, here are a few reasons why.

The Basics
Getting by in life without knowledge of numbers and calculations is not an easy ride, and everyone needs to know about the adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing formula. When this basic has not been mastered in the early years, the child may need additional coaching to take her/him to the next stage.
Dividing Cake
At the nursery school Singapore every child learns that sums are a part of life. The educator makes the medium an easy ride by using props or pictorial content that provides a relatively easier curve in the learning pattern for the child. Once a child is able to understand that dividing an apple or cake into many pieces, is mathematics, they learn how to add more to the kitty!
Analytics All The Way
In every facet of life, math has become quite the norm. Take technology for instance, if a child shows a keenness for learning how to create code, an analytical bent into the number game is the medium. Ditto with a fashion designer, who cannot go places unless s/he understands that measurement is the only way to create something from scratch.
Career Driven
In the field of human resource development, getting to the next level is not possible if one is not familiar with payroll management. And of course, when it comes to company secretaryship, chartered accountancy or general accounting, mathematics definitely comes into play. Therefore, if a child has an inclination for numbers, s/he must be encouraged to pay attention at the very beginning.
In General
Filing of income tax returns is never an easy ride, and while it is easy to allow a CA to handle the overall calculations, getting into the calculi mode that was taught in the early years, pays a great deal.

Summation
From the very beginning in the life of a child, it has become quite a necessity to learn how to calculate and make every effort to get to the next step. Mathematics is crucial for every aspect of life whether one likes the subject or not. While the rudiments may remain a necessity, the advantaged stages of the subject do pan out in the end.

Playing Is Learning

Playing Is Learning

More often than not playing and learning are considered to be mutually exclusive activities for the children but if these two activities can be interlinked then they become mutually beneficial and ultimately optimize learning.
If we examine how children learn, then we will be surprised to find that they learn mostly through their senses. Followed by imitating behavior of people around them. Children are at their most active self when they are playing, so the best way to optimize learning is to tap in to their energy during play.

How playing promotes learning?

When children are playing they are in a relaxed state. They automatically become prone to discovering and embarking on new adventurous tasks as they find play activities to be amusing. Children perceive play time as free from any compulsion or competitiveness, early childhood educator believe this makes children more receptive to cognition activity and thereby growth. It also gives them emotional stability. Playing initiates, a crucial role in helping young learners prepare for outcomes caused by them. It makes them mentally ready for consequences.

Let us look into how playing facilitates learning.

Brain development Children engaged in a play activity has an active brain which gives essential boost to neuro transmitters to help them develop finer motor skills.

Creativity When we are young we are at our creative most self. The gift of imagination is an empowering tool for children. It motivates them to strive for the seemingly unattainable leading to be as adult pioneers in technology.

Self-expression The more a child plays, the more his identity of self develops. The child will learn to express himself better through play. It helps immensely in gaining confidence in themselves for the child. It also teaches them lessons in self-control and regulatory behavior as individuals or as in groups with other playmates.

Language skills Children are often fond of pretend play. They engage in extensive conversations with their imaginary friends and act out scenes. This is a very crucial development that a child can undergo. By getting involved in such activities children develop language and communication skills. They can even better express themselves by using complex sentences or ideas.

Child psychologists observe that what children really need to learn during early childhood actually can not be taught but only self-learnt through play activities. Preschool education should have play components incorporated in their learning environment for most effective and comprehensive development.

The importance of playing in preschool

It is true that children have to learn their lessons in schools. But playing activities in schools are as important as learning lessons. Especially, pre-schoolers including those who have been put into an international preschool have to be allowed to play a lot because as the saying goes, “all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.”

Though a preschool is supposed to prepare your child for her transition to elementary school, teachers should ensure that play also fits into the school time. Experts firmly say that for preschoolers, play is also work because it is during playing they explore their senses.

What is the role of a preschool teacher in setting up play time?

Teachers in preschools should judge the capabilities of the kids and guide them in choosing the right playing activities. For example, slightly older children may readily and willingly play. But very young children may have inherent fears and so, they may like to watch how the older children play. But the advantage is when they carefully observe how the older kids play, they will develop a liking for the play activities and will eventually, start playing themselves.

Similarly, teachers of preschools can make the kids learn how they can cooperate with each other while playing. In general, children will like to interact only with those kids who have similar interests. But teachers can make the kids learn to interact with every other child, regardless of whether they have similar interests or not.

Researchers have found that those children who learn to interact with every other child possess great communication and marketing skills when they grow up.

What is the role of parents?

You, as a parent, must ensure that your kid has enough scope to play in school in which you put her. You must also check if the teachers are playing their role in the right manner for having play activities in their school. In other words, you must ensure that they have put in place the right type of environment for such activities.

Why playing in preschool is important

  1. Children can perfect their motor skills with the help of such activities. They will come across new challenges and so, they will be eager to involve themselves in every activity. Playing may improve the strength in their hands and this will help in enhancing their writing skills.

  1. Language development

Playing in preschool will help kids in learning new words. When their vocabulary improves, their communication skills will also improve. Discussions and interactions among themselves will help the kids in setting rules for their playing activities. In short, their social development will get accelerated, thanks to these activities.

  1. Self-confidence

Even small successes in their playing activities will improve the self-confidence in children.

You, as a parent, must therefore do a proper research when you choose a preschool.

All You Wanted To About International Schools

Today, international schools are available in a variety of shapes and sizes. Moreover, it constitutes of different types of school systems, which encompass a host of curricula and formats. Some of these international schools are more “international” than others.

If a school wants to be eligible for an international school, the school should typically follow an international or national curriculum, which is not same as the curriculum of the host nation moreover, there is an emphasis is put on an international education like the International Board as well as global citizenship.

Fast growth

The market for international schools has seen massive and unprecedented growth over the last one decade. During this time period, the total number of such schools has doubled all over the world.  Today, there are several thousands of international schools that are spread worldwide. Moreover, millions of students enroll in these schools around the globe. This so a clear indication that the impact of globalization and expansion of businesses beyond their geographical boundaries have led to an increasing number of expats who prefer to get their kids admitted in reputable international schools.

Defining an international school

This massive growth in the number of international schools has triggered the mushrooming of many such schools that are using the term “international”. However, in reality, they are so just in name. For instance, in the year 2010, only 23 percent of the international schools were offering a form of IB program. So, the big question is what happened to the remaining three-fourth of these international schools, which did not offer such a program?

While it is true that IB is not the sole program for such schools, what sort of curriculum was being offered by the remaining international schools? Questions like these promoted the International Association of School Librarianship to come up with a set of criteria based on which any school can be regarded as international school or for that matter in any place. The association served that while all the international schools may not satisfy all the conditions, at least 8 of the criteria should be adhered by the schools.

The main aim of the international schools is to educate their students that a big world exists out there beyond their own culture and nation. Even the teacher at these schools gets an opportunity to learn these valuable lessons of life along with their pupils.
